Mr. Charles L. King

The staff and management of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment would like to inform all that Mr. Charles King entered into the long sleep with the Savior early Saturday morning, August 31, 2024 at UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro, NC. 

The Services honoring Mr. King's legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Sunday, September 8, 2024 between the hours of 11am and 12noon in the main chapel of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC. Immediately following the visiting hours at 12noon, “The Farewell Ceremony” will be called to order. Immediately following the farewell celebration, Mr. King's physical vessel and his cherished family will be escorted to the Carver Memorial Park Cemetery for Committal Rites. As difficult as it is to accept Charles no longer being present physically, all can find solace knowing that God promised to wipe away all tears from this family’s eyes, as they continue to cope with a missing link in their family’s chain. 

Guests are being received at 1540 Indian Springs Rd. Mt Olive, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious E.M. Matthews Ebony Motorcade.
