Mr. Chester I. Murchison

The moment has come for the Batchelor Brothers Family to formally announce that Mr. Chester Isaiah Murchison has transitioned from this life to life eternal. Murchison quietly walked into the Everlasting Sunset on Saturday evening, at UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro, NC. 

A time to express condolences and remember better days while visiting with Chester, has been requested by his precious family to take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 4pm to 7pm in the main chapel on the campus of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment. During these tender moments, all who pass this way will fulfill the Romans 15:1’s declaration that the “Strong shall bear the infirmities of the weak”. This gesture will give all who remain, the strength needed to begin the healing process from this loss. 

Those that have crossed the celestial shores before Mr. Chester include his parents: John L. Murchison and Purcell Jones Murchison; 3 brothers: Odell Murchison, John Earl Murchison and Leroy Murchison; 3 sisters: Elizabeth M. Leftdwrige, Louise M. Leftdwrige and Eva Mae M. Broadie. 

Memories will remain in the hearts of so many beginning with his 3 children: Thomas Murchison, Brenda Kaye Murchison and Linda Faye Murchison; 4 sisters: Pauline Hocutt, Mary Leftdwrige, Helen Murchison and Pearlie Donald; 1 brother, Charles Murchison and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. 

Guests will be received at the residence located at 342 North Alabama Ave. Goldsboro, NC.
