Mr. Edward “Bill” Coley

With sincere sorrow the E.M. Matthews Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of Mr. Edward “Bill” Coley on February 5, 2026 in Goldsboro, NC surrounded by his loving and devoted wife and family.

Visiting Moments will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 between 6pm and 8pm at the funeral home. 

Celebration of Life services will take place on Saturday, February 14. 2026 commencing at 12noon at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church 1065 Tommys Road, Goldsboro, NC. 

Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park South Dudley, NC. Due to entombment,  expressions of love through floral arrangements should be in the form of a lovely potted plant, basket or dish garden. These pieces will be cherished by the family in the days to come. 

Guests are being received at the residence located at 504 Hare Rd. Goldsboro, NC during this difficult time.
