With many having mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, the Batchelor Brothers Family has been given the solemn duty to serve notice that Mr. Herbert Howell no longer has to tolerate life’s fitful fevers. Mr. Howell stepped out of life’s backdoor Sunday January 29, 2023 while resting in UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro, NC.
Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Mr. Howell, as he rests in tranquil repose in the Batchelor Brothers Life Celebration Chapel on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10am to 11am. Commencing at 11am, a Service of Remembrance will take place also in the main chapel on the Batchelor Brothers campus. As difficult as this is for Mr. Herbert’s loved ones to endure this tremendous loss, consolation comes knowing that God promised to be closer than a father, grandfather, brother or friend when each of them are no longer with us. If God said it, then that settles it and He will fulfill His promises for this precious family, being anything they need just when they need it the most.
Left to cherish Mr. Howell’s memories are his loving and devoted children: Pearline Howell and Richard Earl Howell; sisters: Verlyn Wooten Moore; brother: Leroy Martin; two grandchildren 5 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at 900 Evergreen Ave. unit G2, Goldsboro, NC where they will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Ebony Batchelor Brothers Motorcade.
E.M. Matthews and the Compassionate Professionals of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment are serving the Howell and connected families with sincere love and care throughout this difficult journey.
