Mr. James “Bootsy” Sims

It is with an abundance of sorrow that the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces the sudden departure of Mr. James Sims. Mr. Sims transitioned from this life to life eternal on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his residence with his devoted family by his bedside in Goldsboro , NC. 

Time has been set aside by the family for those who wish to come and express their condolences, while paying homage to Bootsy, beginning on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm in the main chapel of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment. Services to remember this husband, brother and friend will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 3pm in the Life Celebration Chapel on the Batchelor Brothers Funeral Est. campus. Following the service in the chapel, Mr. Sims’ mortal frame along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Old Mill Cemetery for Committal Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness, while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead. 

Guests are being received at the residence located at 616 S. Taylor St. Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Batchelor Brothers Ebony Motorcade.
