Mr. Nathaniel George Jr.

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of the Master Architect God our Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of the E.M. Matthews family to inform all, that Mr. Nathaniel George Jr. is now resting in paradise. Mr. George put down the cares of this life on June 6, 2025, while resting in Goldsboro Assisted Living Facility in Goldsboro, NC.

Services to honor this loving father, grandfather, brother and friend will begin on Saturday, June 14, 2025 with hours of visiting and reflecting from 2pm until 3pm, as Mr. George lies in peaceful repose in Moses Chapel Church in Faison, NC. Events will climax with A Triumphant Celebration of Life Ceremony commence at 3pm on Saturday also at Moses Chapel Church in Faison, NC. Following the services in the house of worship, Mr. George’s earthen vessel along with his adored family, will be escorted to Cobb Cemetery for Committal Rites. As difficult as it will be for Nate’s family to cope and continue this walk of life without him, all will find solace knowing he’s is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. There, Mr. George is resting by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal splendor.

The family is receiving guests at 142 Country Run Lane Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious E.M. Matthews Ebony Motorcade.
