Mr. Sherman McCoy Davis Sr.

Mr. Sherman Davis, 72 of 107 Handley Park Ct, Goldsboro, NC quietly stepped out of life's backdoor on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro, NC.  

The Services honoring Mr. Davis legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Monday, August 1, 2022, between the hours of 5pm to 7pm in the main chapel on the premises of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment, located at 708 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mr. Davis, while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. Commencing at 11am on the following day, August 2, 2022 a Loving Farewell Ceremony by the Graveside, will take place in Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church in Seven Springs, NC. This is a journey no family wishes to take with the one they love. However, the Master promised to give them comfort knowing that Mr. Davis is sitting around the Throne listening to the Savior say “Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant.” 

He leaves to cherish fond memories with his son: Sherman Davis Jr., special friend: Linda Faye Best; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Bessie Annette Johnson and Audrey King; two brothers: Donnell Davis, Costello Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Mr. Davis earthly temple is resting at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment.
