Mr. Wendell C. Griffith

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Batchelor Brothers Family joins with the family of Mr. Wendell Griffith as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Griffith transitioned from this life on Monday, February 19, 2024 at UNC Healthcare Chapel Hill, NC.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 between 3pm and 5pm in the Batchelor Brothers Life Celebration Chapel. A formal “farewell” celebration will take place on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12noon also in the Life Celebration Chapel. At the conclusion of the services in the chapel, Mr. Griffith’s physical vessel along with his precious loved ones will be escorted to the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC for Military Honors and Committal Rites. Although Mr. Wendell closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him, can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest, where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
