Mr. Willie Strong

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment to inform all, that Mr. Willie Strong is now resting in paradise. Mr. Strong put down the cares of this life on Thursday, January 2, 2024. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mr. Strong and his adored family can take part. Commencing on Thursday, January 9, 2025, between the moments of 10am and 11am, a time of visitation and reflection will be held in the E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment as Mr. Strong rests in peaceful repose. Following, a Loving Farewell Service will be called to order beginning at 11am, also in the main Chapel on the Funeral Establishment’s campus. After which, Willie’s mortal remains along with his adored family, will be escorted to Carver Memorial Park in Mt. Olive, NC for interment rites. Yes, this is as far as Mr. Willie’s relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Mr. Strong’ loving family when he wrote, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” Let the church say......... Amen. 

The Strong and connected families are being gingerly cared for by E.M. Matthews and the Compassionate Professionals of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment.
