The moment has come and the Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Mrs. Barbara S. McDowell is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but she is now resting in the among the Heavenly Host. Mrs. McDowell began her life of everlasting peace on Friday, March 8, 2024 at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC.

The Services honoring Mrs. McDowell’s legacy will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 commencing at 12noon by the graveside at Golden Gate Cemetery in Pikeville, NC. It is far too soon that this family will have to make this journey yet again. However, the Master promised to give them comfort knowing that Mrs. McDowell is reunited with her loving husband and both are sitting around the Throne free from the troubles of this world. 

In Lieu of floral arrangements, expressions of love can be displayed to the family in the form of a card or love gram, mailed to the home of Mrs. McDowell’s son: Mr. Leroy McDowell Jr. 1305 Flemming House St., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
