Mrs. Carolyn S. Core

The moment has come and the Batchelor Brothers Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Mrs. Carolyn S. Core is no longer troubled with the cares of this world, but she is now resting among the Heavenly Host.  Mrs. Core began her life of everlasting peace on Thursday evening, January 12, 2023, while resting at her residence in Goldsboro, NC.

On Sunday, January 15, 2023 commencing at 12noon, a Loving Farewell Ceremony will take place at Little Rock Church of Christ in Pikeville, NC. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Core’s delicate temple along with her cherished family, will be escorted to Wayne Memorial Park South in Dudley, NC for Interment Rites. The Master promised in His Holy word to give this beloved family comfort knowing, that Mrs. Carolyn is sitting around the throne telling the Savior how she made it “home”.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to many beginning with her Husband: Douglas Core, Sr., Daughter: Dyna P. Spruill (Teyona Sanders) of Dallas, TX, Son: Rodney D. Spruill of Greensboro, NC, Stepson: Douglas Core, Jr., Brothers: David Simmons (Christine), Herman Simmons (Vicki), Nathan R. Simmons, Gerald Simmons (Samantha), Cory Simmons (Kanesha), Sisters: Bestey Holmes (Anthony), Pamela Braswell (Darryl), Grandchildren: Ashley Sauls, TyJay Williams, Javier Gray, Marley Spruill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
