Mrs. Iris McCall Battle

Father please give us the wisdom and knowledge needed, as we serve Your children which are the remaining family members of Mrs. Iris Battle. Mrs. Battle quietly began the long sleep in the arms of Jesus Christ, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro, NC.

The hours of 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 has been designated by the family for those who wish to spend intimate moments with Mrs. Battle as she lies in peaceful repose in the main chapel of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC. The Obsequies for this Virtuous Woman will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 commencing at 11am in the sanctuary of St. James Church of Christ located at 603 W. Spruce St. in Goldsboro, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mrs. Battle's delicate temple along with her cherished relatives, will be escorted to Wayne Memorial Park South in Dudley, NC for Interment Rites. At the benediction, the daunting task of leaving Mrs. Iris’ physical temple there alone will become a reality. However for the believer here’s the shout,  although her earthen vessel will rest in Wayne Memorial Park, her spirit man is resting amongst the Heavenly Host where she will receive her Crown of Righteousness. Wait there’s more......friends don’t be dismayed, because even though Mrs. Iris Faye McCall Battle has finally seen the Man she has prayed to and rejoiced in for many years no matter her circumstances, she along with others who are resting in His bosom can not crown Him until all the Saints get there. Hallelujah.....Amen.
