Mrs. Lola Oates

With an abundance of love and concern, the Batchelor Brothers Family is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Lola Oates , as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this vital link to their family chain. Mrs. Oates closed the curtains on this journey called life early Saturday morning, while resting at UNC Wayne Health in Goldsboro, NC.

“Until we meet again” services will be orchestrated as requested by her loving daughters. On Saturday morning December 10, 2022 between the tender moments of 10am and 11am, a time of visitation and reflection will take place in the Batchelor Brothers Life Celebration Chapel, where Mrs. Oates will lie in peaceful repose for all who wish to pay homage to her. Commencing promptly at 11am, a Triumphant Celebration of Life Ceremony will be called to order. Following the formalities in the chapel, Mrs. Oates’ delicate temple along with her adored family, will be escorted from the Batchelor Brothers campus to the Grantham Family Cemetery in Mt. Olive for Committal Rites. As difficult as it will be for Mrs. Lola’s family to leave this earthly resting place without her, all can find consolation knowing that she is finally partaking in words of the  hymnologist......”when we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.....when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the VICTORY.”  

Guests are being received at 105 Royal Dr. Dudley, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Batchelor Brothers Ebony Motorcade.
