Mrs. Sarah D. McCoy

The moment has come when the Batchelor Brothers Family must pause and inform all that Mrs. Sarah D. McCoy affectionately known as “Soul” no longer resides on this side of the Jordan river. On Saturday July 8, 2023, that Glorious ship of Zion, left the dock at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Goldsboro, NC with Mrs. Sarah on board, bound for Paradise. 

Services reflecting Mrs. McCoy’s journey while on earth will begin with a visitation Saturday, July 15, 2023 between the hours of 4pm and 6pm, as Mrs. McCoy rests in a tranquil state, for those who wish to pay their respect to her at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment. The “Dash” Ceremony will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 11am at St. James Church of Christ in Goldsboro, NC. Following the celebratory events in the House of God, Mrs. McCoy’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family, will be escorted to the Old Mill Cemetery for Interment Rites. There, her physical temple will rest until time is called into eternity and all who’s spirit has crossed those celestial shores, shall reunite with their new body and reign with the Master forevermore. 

The family is receiving visitors at 108 Herman St. Goldsboro, where they will also assemble for the Prestigious Batchelor Brothers Ebony Motorcade.
