With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the E.M. Matthews Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Ms. Barbara Williams, as they prepare to say “until we meet again”. Ms. Williams stepped out of life’s backdoor on Saturday, August 16, 2025  at her residence in Mt. Olive, NC.

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a public gathering and visitation on Friday, August 29, 2025 between the moments of 11am and 12noon in the E.M. Matthews Life Celebration Chapel, where Ms. Williams will lie in peaceful repose. The events will climax with a Service of Remembrance honoring this special gem also on Friday August 29, 2025 at 12noon in the chapel. Afterwhich, Ms. Williams’ delicate temple and her adored family will be escorted to First Congregational Cemetery in Dudley, NC for Commital Rites. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air. 

Guests are being received at the residence located at 456-B Kelly Springs Rd. Mt. Olive, NC during this time of sadness.
