It is with an abundance of sorrow that the Batchelor Brothers Family announces the sudden departure of Ms. Cleo James. Ms. James transitioned from this life into life eternal Monday morning at her residence, surrounded by her devoted family.
Time has been set aside by the family for those who wish to come and express their condolences, while paying homage to Cleo, on Friday, September 23, 2022 between the hours of 1pm and 3pm in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the campus of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment.
Services to remember this loving mother, sister, niece, cousin and friend will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 3:30pm at The Batchelor Brothers Funeral Chapel in Goldsboro, NC. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. James’ along with her devoted family, will be escorted to Old Mill Cemetery for Committal Rites.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by many such as her daughter: Shaidrequa Motria James; 5 sisters: Denise James, Alice James, Basheyia James, Lushus James and Nijha Burgess; 4 brothers: Germaine James, David James, Mondeviro James and Joseph Boykin; 1 grandchild along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at 804-A Olivia Ln., Goldsboro, NC. This is the same location that the family will assemble in preparation for the Batchelor Brothers Ebony Motorcade. The James and connected families are receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from the Professionals of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment.
