With an abundance of love and concern, the E.M. Matthews Family is embracing the loved ones of Ms. Debra Streeter, as they prepare to say “Farewell” to a vital link in their family’s chain. Ms. Streeter closed the curtains on this journey called life on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, while resting at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

The Obsequies for Ms. Streeter will begin on Saturday, September 21, 2024 with a public visitation between the hours of 12noon and 1pm in the main chapel of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC. The events continue with a Triumphant Life and Legacy Celebration also on Saturday, commencing in the main chapel of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment. It will truly be an adjustment for Ms. Debra’s devoted family not being able to spend time with her any longer on this side of eternity. However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.”
