Ms. Dorothy McLean

Ms. Dorothy J. McLean of Newton Grove, NC no longer answers to her name on this side of the Jordan and the E.M. Matthews Servants of Service are comforting her heartbroken loved ones with sincere compassion. Ms. McLean wrote the last sentence of her “Life Sketch” on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. 

The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Saturday, December 14, 2024, for moments of visitation and reflection from 1pm until 2pm as Ms. McLean rests in peaceful repose in the main sanctuary of Littlefield Missionary Baptist Church located at 4465 Newton Grove Highway Newton Grove, NC. Beginning at 2pm, a Triumphant Life Celebration will begin for Ms. McLean also at Littlefield Missionary Baptist Church. Following the formalities in the sanctuary, Ms. Dorothy along with her adored family, will be escorted to Littlefield Cemetery in Newton Grove, NC for committal rites.  It is during this ceremony, that all can reflect on how special Dorothy was and comfort her family as they remember this precious jewel who is now in the number that John spoke of in the great book of Revelations. "Those are they, who have come up through hard trials and tribulations and have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb." Dorothy has moved into her new mansion and she is walking the streets paved with gold, rejoicing with the angels and enjoying Paradise beyond the clouds.
