The Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment personnel has been charged with the solemn responsibility to announce that Ms. Gladys M. Johnson quietly stepped out of life’s backdoor Monday,  July 17, 2023, while resting in Philadelphia, P.A. 

A Service of Remembrance will come forth on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11am at Stanley Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, NC. There will be an hour of visitation one hour prior to the service from 10am until 11am. Following the services in the sanctuary, Ms. Johnson’s physical temple along with her adored relatives will be escorted to the Kornegay Family Memorial Gardens in Mt. Olive, NC for Committal Rites. Although Ms. Gladys closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom she loved and loved her can find solace knowing she has walked into the Garden of Rest, where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
