Ms. Helen Carlton

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment to inform all, that Ms. Helen Carlton is now resting in paradise. Ms. Carlton put down this life’s fitful fever on Friday, January 17, 2025, at UNC Wayne in Goldsboro, NC. 

The “Dash” between Helen’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 3pm in the St. Mark Freewill Baptist Church located at 222 Nelson St. in Mt. Olive, NC. Although it will be a major adjustment for Ms. Helen’s family with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
