Ms. Lana Best

The moment has come and the E.M. Matthews Family has been given the solemn duty to announce, that Ms. Lana Best is no longer troubled with the cares of this world. Ms. Best began her life of everlasting peace on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Wayne UNC Health in Goldsboro, NC.

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Ms. Best, as she rests in tranquil repose at E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 12noon until 1pm. Commencing at 1pm, a Service of Remembrance will take place also at E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC. Immediately following the farewell celebration, Ms. Best physical vessel and her cherished family will be escorted to Elmwood Cemetery for Committal Rites. As difficult as this is for Ms. Lana’s loved ones to endure this tremendous loss, consolation comes knowing that God promised to be closer than a mother or friend when each of them are no longer with us. If God said it, then that settles it and He will fulfill His promises for this precious family, being anything they need just when they need it the most.
