Ms. Lorene Coley Rawls

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Batchelor Brothers  Funeral Establishment to inform all, that Ms. Lorene Coley Rawls is now resting in paradise. Ms. Rawls put down the cares of this life on Monday, January 16, 2023, while resting in Novant New Hanover Regional Medical in Wilmington, NC. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Ms. Rawls and her adored family can take part. Commencing on Sunday, January 22, 2023, between the moments of 5pm and 7pm, a time of visitation and reflection will be held in the Batchelor Brothers Life Celebration Chapel as Ms. Rawls rests in peaceful repose. A Loving Farewell Service will be called to order on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 12noon, also in the main Chapel on the Funeral Establishment’s campus. After which, Lorene’s mortal remains along with her adored family, will be escorted to Davis Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC for interment rites. Yes, this is as far as Ms. Lorene’s relatives can trod with her on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Ms. Rawls’ loving family when he wrote, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” Let the church say......... Amen. 

The Coley and connected families are being gingerly cared for by the Compassionate Professionals of Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment.
