With compassionate arms of love, the Batchelor Brothers Family serves public notice that Ms. Merlin Kornegay Banks is now resting in the bosom of Jesus Christ. Ms. Banks gently laid her head on the Master’s chest on Sunday, December 4, 2022 while resting at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

Services to remember this precious gem will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11am at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church in Goldsboro, NC. The Celebrate-In-Chief, Bishop A.A. Smith will facilitate and encourage all who attend. Although, this is a difficult moment for this beloved family, all can find solace knowing that Ms. Banks has laid down life’s fitful fevers and is now strolling those streets paved with gold, reunited with all of her loved ones who have already crossed the swelling tide.
