Ms. Wyomie Grandy

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of the E.M. Matthews Family to inform all, that Ms. Wyomie Grandy is now resting in paradise. Ms. Grandy put down the cares of this life on Monday, November 3, 2025 while in New York. 

Loving Farewell Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 in the E.M. Matthews Life Celebration Chapel on the campus is E.M. Matthews Funeral Home in Goldsboro , NC. The events will begin with a public visitation from 12noon until 1pm in the church sanctuary. At 1pm, A Glorious “Send Off” will commence. At the conclusion of the Order of Worship, Ms. Grandy’s delicate vessel and her beloved family will be escorted to her earthly resting room in the Jerusalem Cemetery where her mortal temple will rest, until her name is called to receive her crown of Righteousness . Now that she has finally met the Man she heard about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one she prayed to and read about in the sixty-six books of the Holy Writ, her spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call her name saying Wyomie, “Well-Done thy good and faithful servant, enter now into the Master’s joy”
