Pastor Jackie Dunn “JD”

With genuine comfort and support, the Batchelor Brothers family announce the peaceful transition of Pastor Jackie Dunn affectionately known as “JD”, 64 of 203 Weatherby Dr., Goldsboro, NC; from this life to life everlasting on August 2, 2022 while resting at his residence surrounded by his beloved family. 

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Saturday, August 6, 2022 between the hours of 10am and 11am, Pastor Dunn will rests in peaceful repose at the altar in the sanctuary of St. James Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ in Fremont, NC. Visitors will be greeted by a formally dressed Batchelor Brothers Servant of Service whose sole purpose is to cater to the needs of the Dunn family and those who have come to share love with their precious gem. The Angelic Obsequies fit for Heaven’s Royal Priesthood, will be called to order on the same day promptly at 11am. At the conclusion of the Triumphant “Send Off”, Pastor Dunn along with adored relatives will be escorted to his earthly waiting room called Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley, NC until his name is called to receive his crown of Righteousness. For many years this man of God has preached his prayer and drew sinners to a saving God. Now all can find peace knowing he is now sitting at the welcome table hearing the Master say “Well-Done” thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over the things on earth, now I will make you ruler over many.

The family is receiving guests at 203 Weatherby Dr., Goldsboro, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Exquisite Batchelor Brothers Ebony Motorcade.

Pastor Dunn’s earthly temple is resting at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Establishment.
