Ruling Elder Ronnie S. McClary Sr.

The Hymnologist described it best when he sat and put ink to parchment writing, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be...when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the Victory. That is exactly what Ruling Elder Ronnie S. McClary Sr. has been doing since he crossed the swelling tide on Monday, November 11, 2024, while resting at home. 

Events to commemorate the impact he made on the “dash” of his life have been finalized by his beloved family. Commencing on Saturday, November 16, 2024 an hour of visitation and viewing will take place in the main chapel of E.M. Matthews Funeral Establishment in Goldsboro, NC, while Elder McClary lies in peaceful repose at the altar of grace from 5:30pm until 6:30pm - with a formal Wake and family present from 6:30pm until 7:30pm. A Triumphant Life and Legacy Celebration will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, commencing at 1pm, at Goldsboro Raleigh Assembly Church located at 211 West Hooks River Rd. in Goldsboro, NC.

On Monday, November 18, 2024, at the hour of 10 am, Elder McClary and his adored family will be escorted to Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC for Committal Rites. As difficult as this task will be for Elder McClary's family, all can find solace in knowing that just as God Himself provided a ram in the thicket for Abraham and Isaac on Mt. Moriah, He will provide comfort to each broken heart Himself from losing this precious gem from their generational lineage. 

The family will be present to receive guests during the visiting hours at the chapel on Saturday.
